Basile Ausländer was born in 1996 in Lausanne, he began the cello at the age of 5 in the class of Denis Guy at the Lausanne Conservatory and performed for the first time as a soloist at the age of 14. In 2011, Basile Auslaender joined the cello class of François Salque at the Haute Ecole de Musique de Lausanne (also a professor at the CNSM in Paris) and will obtain a Master soloist in 2017. He perfected his skills in August 2017 in the cello class of Marko Ylönen at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki. He participates in several masterclasses with masters such as Ivan Monighetti, Gary Hoffman, Philippe Müller, Marc Coppey, Marko Ylönen, Boris Andrianov and others. Basile Auslaender has been awarded the Swiss Youth Music Competition several times and has taken part in various international competitions: Georg Enescu, Benedetto Mazzacurati, ARD. He collaborates as a substitute with the Lausanne Chamber Orchestra (OCL), the Finnish Radio Orchestra (FRSO), the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra (HKO), as well as with the MusicAeterna orchestra. , from Perm (UK). Since 2017 he has been a member of the CameratAmoyal and of Thomas Dobler's crossover ensemble New Baroque Ensemble.
